Advanced Technology is a unique English-taught Bachelor's degree program that you can only follow at the University of Twente. Just like the pioneer Leonardo da Vinci - who was, among other things, a philosopher, engineer, physicist, chemist and painter - you, as an Advanced Technology student, like to combine different disciplines. Like all programs at the UT, this broad technical education is strongly focused on what society needs.
WHAT IS ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY?
Advanced Technology is an English technical course with a keen sense of what our society needs. You combine various technical and natural science disciplines in a broad approach, so that you can come up with innovative and surprising solutions for new problems, without being locked up in one discipline. You will learn how to combine knowledge of a number of disciplines, such as electrical engineering, chemical technology, technical physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering and business administration.
STUDY PROGRAM
During this varied and fascinating training you will deal with very different disciplines. You can use the versatile theoretical knowledge you gain in this way to bring a series of challenging projects to a successful conclusion. You will soon find out how valuable it is to view a problem from different perspectives, and you will experience how much satisfaction it gives to come to a solution. In the course of the training you will also increasingly see how society can benefit optimally from the solutions you come up with.
An internationally recognized bachelor's degree in Advanced Technology is an excellent preparation for several master's programs at the University of Twente or other universities in the Netherlands or abroad. The most chosen Masters are Masters in the field of mechatronics, process engineering and materials science.
