About the program/cycle of studies
The Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Science trains skilled professionals by providing a solid background in the biological, chemical and biomedical sciences, conveying deep and holistic knowledge in specific areas of nutrition and food sciences. In the final semester of the Bachelor's degree, students undertake work experience that affords them direct experience in a range of contexts their degree prepares them to work in. This enables them to strengthen and consolidate their academic and professional skills. Internships take place in several clinical and hospital facilities, health centres, companies, and other community services with established protocols with CESPU.
This degree is structured according to the Bologna process. Therefore, it lasts 4 years, corresponding to 240 ECTS. It is also in compliance with all the requirements set out by the Dieticians Association, which regulate nutrition practice whilst safeguarding the interests of its graduates.

Document certifying that the candidate has a national exam of Biology in is education system with the minimum mark of approved in order to substitute our national access exam of Biologia e Geologia, and the respective contents, or take the exam in CESPU
