  • ACTING FOR FILM TV & THE THEATRE

  • The acting program applies the Stanislavski Method to blend film and television acting with the critical foundations of stage technique. The program is taught by a faculty of acclaimed actors, with credits including The Handmaid’s Tale, American Gods, Orphan Black and Taken. You will explore artistic, technical and business areas of acting, through practical, hands-on training. From movement to voice and improvisation, you will learn the foundations of acting for the camera and stage, as well as the skills for voice-over, screenwriting, pitching, producing, directing, video editing, auditioning and career management.
  • Maximize your potential in the Acting industry with a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree from Yorkville University--a unique degree completion program that requires prior completion of an acceptable post-secondary diploma in the creative arts. Our articulation agreement with Yorkville University lets you complete your Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in as few as 15 months while working, and helps you develop advanced leadership skills needed to manage production teams, market yourself as a brand, and more.

You’ll perform in the productions of filmmaking students, table read film and television scripts with writing students, create pitch packages with graphic design students and record voiceovers with video game design students.

  • REAL WORLD EDUCATION

You’ll gain invaluable experience performing in all areas of the entertainment industry and build a diverse professional portfolio. As early as your first term, you’ll be performing in front of the camera as well as using film equipment. You’ll also appear in a play by an accomplished guest director on a professional downtown Toronto stage.

  • INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS
